Chocolate, where did it originate? What kind is recommended for baking or dipping truffles? Where can I purchase the highest quality chocolate? Well, a story have it that chocolate and it’s notability as an aphrodisiac have been traced all the way back to the Aztecs where they created a warm drink of ground cacao beans mixed with water. Thereafter, the cacao pods were then made as a symbol of life and fertility which is correlated to chocolate having its major association with love and passion. Eventually the cacao beans made their way to Spain where sugar was added and the rest is “chocolate history”.
Now talking about chocolate, it is believe that some people find their romantic match based on astrology. Others may have gone a step further and considering their predisposition to chocolate, could there be a more natural match than chocolate wedding favors on a special day? Downfall and happiness, cravings and ecstasy, it’s hard to tell where one ends and the other begins. But why split hairs? Better yet, discover why women and chocolate are a natural combination.
