One should know that christianity religion is simple. First you believe Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose again to defeat all sin. Those who accept this simple truth are Christian. That is it, you are not required to be baptized, take communion, sing hymns, etc. There are no traditions you have to follow or obligations to keep. One simple belief makes a Christ-ian or Christian or one of Christ. Well, while it is true that wanting to convert others into a different way of life can be a noble aspiration. Hence, who has the right or the authority to decide which way of life is best? Yes, not all conversions are God-inspired and so no one ever has the right or to determine the standards they’ll follow living in peace and harmony with one another.
We do all these things and keep these traditions because church leaders, with great hearts, believe these traditions are the way to be in a relationship with God. Many are modeled from Christ’s life, such as baptism and communion. To be with Christ we must be like Him or so the belief goes. Baptism is a public showing of christian faith and symbolic of your rebirth, however not required to be a Christian. Communion is done to never forget the sacrifice made on the cross but not required to be a Christian.
Most people think that Christian theology said that God revolves around humankind, Jesus was a man, the creation and the heavens were created for humankind and the destruction of the creation centers around the events occurring on earth, to humans. Now, God did in fact create the earth and place humans here on it to live. Jesus was the Son of God but also the Son of Man. In bible prophecy, you will discover the reason people suffer and the lessons they should learn from it. You will see that God, who inspired prophecy, cares for people—that He has designed a logical and realistic master plan for solving the suffering and dilemmas that we cannot resolve on our own.
